All Applicants are expected to satisfy procedures and criteria for admission at PSU and to submit acceptable certified documents that verify that they have satisfactorily completed all admission requirements. Students who meet all requirements will be considered for acceptance to the University. Some students may be admitted conditionally at the discretion of the Registrar if they cannot submit all necessary documents at the time of the application.
However, conditionally admitted students must present the required documents within the first semester of study. Failure to do so will prohibit further registration.
All applicants must complete the Application for Admission Form and submit it to the Admissions Office. A non-refundable processing fee must accompany the application.
Applicants from Secondary Schools/High schools
Admission to undergraduate degree programmes is based on academic achievement at the secondary level. All students must pass Form Four Examination or graduate from high school and pass the entry examination to be admitted in University programmes. Entry examinations will include English, and Math.
An application will automatically be refused without further recourse if any altered or forged documents are submitted.
Students who failed to submit all required documents may be admitted conditionally. Conditionally admitted students must present the required documents the first semester of study. Failure to do so will prohibit registration.
Applicants for Re-Admission
Students who are not in continuous enrolment must apply for re-admission through the Admissions Office. Continuous enrolment is defined as being officially registered and pursuing an academic programme for two out of every three semesters. Students who have not enrolled for two consecutive semesters must apply for re-admission unless they have obtained an approved leave of absence.
Students must submit an application fee (to be determined by the University). Students who are re-admitted will be treated as new students and their transcripts will be evaluated by the Dean or designee based on current curriculum and admission
