The event was held at the university main Campus Hall in Garowe, Puntland Somalia. A number of ministers, government officials and representatives from international agencies based in Garowe, attended the ceremony .<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/psu.edu.so\/psu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/DSC06612.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-802\" title=\"DSC06612\" src=\"http:\/\/psu.edu.so\/psu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/DSC06612.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"488\" height=\"365\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The ceremony was opened by the PSU Vice Chancellor, Mohamud Hamud Mohamed with remarks marking the occasion and the importance of the AAU as a representative forum for all \u00a0African higher education issues in Africa .
