Garowe, Puntland – The highly anticipated Puntland State University Students’ Development Association (PSUSDA) elections for 2025-2026 concluded successfully, marking another democratic milestone for the university’s student leadership. The elections, held under the one person, one vote system, witnessed strong competition among three major student parties: Union Student Party, Himilo Party, and Midnimo Party.

With 41.9% of the total votes, Abdiwahid Mohamed Farah from Himilo Party emerged victorious, securing the presidency of PSUSDA for the next two years.
