introduction

The Faculty of Computing at Puntland State University (PSU) is a key academic unit established to support Somalia’s rapidly expanding ICT industry. Formerly known as the Faculty of Computer Science, the faculty is dedicated to developing highly qualified ICT professionals equipped with strong technological problem-solving abilities, critical thinking skills, and a culture of innovation.

With a strong emphasis on practical, hands-on learning and intellectual curiosity, the Faculty of Computing prepares students to meet the demands of both local and global ICT markets. Through industry-aligned programs and modern computing education, the faculty plays a vital role in advancing digital transformation and technological development in Somalia.
