Introduction
This programme was introduced in 2025 with an objective of providing learners with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in project planning and management. The programme puts focus on development, humanitarian, and public sector projects. It introduces key principles, tools, and methodologies used to design, implement, monitor, and control projects to ensure the efficient use of resources and achievement of intended results.
The program encompasses various domains, including project management principles and practices, scope management, time management, risk management, and project monitoring and evaluation. Additionally, the program is designed to produce holistic graduates with expertise in organizational development, management skill enhancement, scholarly writing, and research methodology. Learners are also introduced to essential project management competencies such as leadership, communication, teamwork, and coordination with partners and stakeholders. By integrating project planning with monitoring and evaluation, the course promotes learning, adaptability, and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.
