Introduction
Foundation Pathways is a comprehensive English language program introduced by the University to enhance students’ communication and academic skills in line with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The program is designed as a learner-centred and integrated pathway that equips students with the English proficiency and essential life skills required for success in university studies and future careers.
The program adopts a task-based learning approach, supported by internationally recognized textbooks from Cambridge University Press and a cutting-edge assessment system from Cambridge English Assessment. Foundation Pathways blends online learning, which extends learning beyond the classroom, with interactive, student-centred classroom instruction that promotes active participation, critical thinking, and deeper learning.
