The first plenary meeting of the heads of the higher education institutions of puntland is meant to strengthen the provision of accessible and high quality higher education services.

The overall goal of the plenary meeting of Puntland Higher Education Institutions is to assess the state of higher education in Puntland and subsequently decide on a common way forward to improve the situation of the provision of higher education services.

This plenary meeting has been jointly organized by the Puntland Ministry of Education and Higher Education and Puntland State University.
