Puntland State University
Mansha’allah words can’t explain how proud I am with this facility and all the good things they have done( I have made my research). I live in the states and I have been paralegal for over 6 years never ever have I thought to become an attorney but my hobbies was always in the legal system, I have studied criminal justice but was not able to complete due to financial hardship but I did bachelor in accounting and completed before I started studying criminal justice. My dream was to go back home and help out my people with the knowledge I achieved in the states. I have not been back home since my childhood, most of my life I have been raised in the states. I would love to assist the female who is facing financial crisis due to non support from the husband. Here in the states we call it child support and if the man can’t assist his children than he has to face it with the law. I see here in the states a lot of single mothers not mentally stable and they can’t raised their children and it hurts to see our kids raised by non-somali parents teaching them different culture and religion. I have seen numerous adoption withing our community and it breaks my heart. After my paralegal job I have become a social worker and had worked with teenagers , I was not proud of them doing a lot of abortion and giving their children for adoption but my job was to help them mentality even though it hurt to see it . My advice for PSU is to take action on that field for the female who is incapable raising children to provide a good home for the kids. I know a lot of female who can’t have kids and would love to adopt them. Start to create an adoption community in a legal way to provide a great home for the children and also orphans who does not have stable home.
