DSC00514Puntland State University (PSU) hosted a five day training from Monday February 2nd to Friday February 6th 2015. The participants included ICT and adminstrative officials from Puntland State University, East Africa University, Lasanod University and Galkayo University.

CTA (Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Co-operation) www.cta.int in conjunction with TCC organized the Training,

Participants where introduced web 2.0 applications including social media and got a chance to see what others have done, get hands-on experience on how to use innovative applications, and assess how they could adopt these innovations within the context of their work and organization.

This Opportunity covered advanced online searching, getting information served via alerts and RSS, collaborating remotely, online mapping and social networking.
